Vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus, polio and measles recommended.

Driving
  • Swiss driver's license accepted for car rentals.

  • Minimum age for car rentals: 21 to 25 (varies by company).

  • CH sticker, first-aid kit, bright signal jacket, fire extinguisher and breakdown triangle mandatory.

  • Snow tires are mandatory from 1.12. Until 1.3.

  • Headlights must be on even during the day.

  • Blood alcohol limit: 0.5 ‰.
